Women in Technology Uganda
The Women in Technology Uganda (WiTU) program equips girls and women with digital skills to strengthen both individual opportunity and the country’s broader economic potential. By building capacity in software development, digital design, and data processing, the initiative supports Uganda’s efforts to attract global business and expand employment pathways. WiTU also invests in early learning for children, helping establish a foundation for long-term growth.
This report highlights both the program’s impact on communities and the transformative effects of education and training on individuals.
The organization provides educational and moral support to incarcerated young adults in Central American countries, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras. Important to the success of the Orphan Helpers program is recognizing that its participants are progressing and achieving a high school diploma. By this metric, the organization can raise funds to continue its mission in these countries and to assist its program participants in being released from prison and in training for careers.
