I am a graphic designer with over ten years of experience in corporate marketing, combining hands‑on production expertise with strategic visual storytelling. My design goals are to translate complex concepts into clear, effective designs for print, digital, presentations, motion, and short-form video. I hold a BFA in Graphic Design and Studio Art from the University of Arizona.
Design Attaché is a business name through which I operate as a production design artist and communications design professional. I offer business services for the design, development, and production of long-form documents. These projects have included professional services proposals, annual reports, non-profits' impact reporting, many books, white papers, case studies, and other complex multi-page documents that may include images, charts, and other informational graphics.
My strengths include the design and production of infographics, presentation systems, long-form documents, and the development and expansion of identity systems. I approach communications challenges with precision and craft, balancing aesthetic intent with technical requirements. I am currently expanding my UX knowledge through the Interaction Design Foundation, studying UX principles from leaders such as Don Norman and Alan Dix to integrate user-centered methodology into practical execution.
Typography is central to my practice: I value its texture, rhythm, and capacity to convey meaning. I draw inspiration from practitioners who push typographic and visual boundaries—Paula Scher for systemic identity, David Carson for expressive experimentation, and April Greiman for the synthesis of digital and material approaches. Their work informs my decisions around hierarchy, tone, and creative risk-taking. I seek out creative work that is thoughtful, human-centered, and crafted with care.
Outside of my work, I enjoy swimming and fitness, cooking and seeking exceptional dining experiences, traveling to explore historic sites, broad reading, and attending live music.
